Legacy Painting was referred to us by a close friend that works in a paint store. We made an appointment for a visit to discuss project and details of how it would be done (a new deck staining project). The representative arrived on-time, went to the deck with us and talked through the process of how they would prepare the deck (pressure-treated lumber, no previous work on surface since installation), clean and sand surfaces, and then stain. He also talked specifically about the stain that would be used (the quality of the product) and we selected a color. After receiving a quote (which we believed was reasonable), we agreed to job. Once the time-frame was established, they did the prep work on a Friday, and then completed the staining on a Saturday. We were very pleased with the overall project work, the attention they paid to protecting other surfaces, and the quality of the job. We would definitely use them for a similar project or other painting related projects in the future, and would recommend them to others. In addition, during the process, they were very good about answering phone calls or returning calls with questions.

Deck Staining – Fishers, IN
This new deck was installed here in the Fishers, IN in 2016 (about a year ago) and needed stained to protect it. You will notice we took the “before” pictures in the rain. Although we won’t stain wood in the rain, we will gather some measurements in the rain in order to submit a fair estimate for the project in a reasonable amount of time.
We did not install the deck, but we are great at professional deck staining. Before we began staining the deck, we properly cleaned the decking with a light wood cleaner and brightener, followed by a light pressure wash.
It’s important to clean and prep the wood to allow the stain to bond well and provide a long lasting stain.
This deck staining project turned out great and the customer was happy with the results.
On this project, we applied Sikkens “Teak” stains after the customer viewed our website and liked a few examples we posted in our portfolio.
We take pride in our work and will ensure your deck stain is applied properly to give your deck a longer life.
