Commercial Painting is Not the Same for Every Customer—We Know Your Property Type

Apartment & Multifamily

Common area and exterior repaints without the mess and clutter that become resident complaints. We break down and clean up daily, so the property looks lived-in, not worked-on. We schedule around your lease schedule, not against it.

Property Management

Managing multiple properties means you need a contractor who knows your standards without having them re-explained every time. We provide consistent crews and project managment across your entire portfolio.

Schools & Higher Education

K-12 schedules have no flexibility. We plan around bell schedules, break windows, and summer deadlines upfront so the district doesn’t face missed deadlines or schedule overruns.

HOA Communities

Board members are volunteers making high-stakes decisions. We walk the project before we bid it, explain our reasoning, and give the board what it needs to say yes.

Other Property types

Retail centers, warehouses, churches, office parks, healthcare facilities, hotels, industrial buildings, and auto dealerships all run on different schedules with different constraints. We handle planned repaints and maintenance cycles across all of them with minimal disruption to your operations.

Commercial Painting Services That Fit Your Schedule

Commercial Interior Painting

Offices, lobbies, common areas, stairwells, and tenant spaces each have their own access constraints and occupancy realities. Legacy Painting sequences the work around them, whether that means phasing by floor, working nights and weekends, or both.

Commercial exterior Painting

Indianapolis weather, tenant schedules, and property management documentation requirements all shape how an exterior project gets planned. Legacy Painting coordinates around all three and delivers a complete record of the work when the job closes out.

How Legacy Painting Will Leave Its Mark

Legacy Painting is built on four values: integrity first, service before self, excellence in all we do, and investing in our community. Those values are why our clients can reach a designated contact directly, why every client gets a written scope before we start and a full project record when we finish, and why we show up on Wednesday when we said Wednesday.

What Our Clients Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with property management companies?

Legacy Painting works with property managers overseeing single properties and multi-property portfolios across Indianapolis and the surrounding area. We offer consistent crews, standardized specs, and a single point of contact so every property gets the same standard of work.

How does your estimate process work?

Every estimate starts with a site walkthrough. We come to the property, take measurements, document existing conditions, and return a written scope of work. You will know exactly what is covered before anyone picks up a brush.

Can you work around occupied buildings and tenant schedules?

Absolutely. Occupied buildings are a normal part of commercial work, and we plan every project around your operational calendar. That can mean night and weekend shifts, phased sequencing by floor or zone, and clear communication so tenants know what to expect and when. Low-odor and low-VOC coatings are also available for spaces where air quality is a concern, such as offices, healthcare facilities, and schools. Our crews keep work areas clean, contained, and professional, so the only thing people notice when we’re done is the fresh paint.

Do you handle both interior and exterior commercial projects?

Yes. Legacy Painting handles commercial interior and exterior painting across all property types in the Indianapolis metro, including apartments, HOA communities, healthcare facilities, schools, and warehouses.

What areas of Indianapolis do you serve?

Legacy Painting serves Indianapolis and the surrounding Central Indiana metro, including Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, Greenwood, Zionsville, Avon, and Plainfield.

How far in advance do I need to schedule?

Smaller projects typically receive an estimate within 1–3 business days. Larger projects may take a bit longer given the scope and level of detail involved. We’d rather take the time to get it right than hand you a number that changes later. Every estimate starts with an on-site walkthrough. We’ll assess the building and surface conditions, and talk through your goals, timeline, and any access or occupancy requirements, such as working around tenants, business hours, or restricted areas. From there, we prepare a detailed written estimate so you know exactly what’s included.

Working against a bid deadline? Let us know upfront, and we’ll do everything we can to meet it.

Ready to Start
a Conversation?

Legacy starts every estimate with a walkthrough, not a form and a ballpark. We come to the property, document what we see, ask the questions that need to be asked, and return a written scope.
