Fence Staining – Mahogany 045

This fence staining project in Broadripple Indianapolis, Indiana is a good example of a common fence staining project.  This is a newer fence that had never stained fence.

The homeowner was originally looking into just power washing the fence and using a transparent stain assuming. Unfortunately, even though it is new fence it had grayed out too much and we needed to apply a light solution to help kill any mold, mildew and brighten the wood back up.

After we explained our process, the homeowner expressed the importance of staining both sides of the fence. It is common in the Broadripple area for homeowners to request that only 1 side of the fence be stained. The reason for the request is that often the fence is the property line and the other side of the fence is the neighbor’s property or responsibility through verbal or written agreements.

In this project, the homeowner decided to utilize the quality and protection PPG ProLuxe® CETOL SRD  can provide. After some research and discussing the colors with their landscaping team, the owners decided on Mahogany 045 as their desired wood stain color.

The project turned out great and the customer was happy with the stain and our craftsmanship.
