Log Home Staining
The owners of this log home in Martinsville, Indiana were looking to have their beautiful home restained. They contact us at Legacy Painting to see if we were able to help with this project.
Staining a log home is different than staining your deck or fence. The logs have a tremendous about of cracks in the wood, so it’s very important to caulk these cracks and all the wood to wood joints. Caulking all the cracks and wood to wood joints will prevent moisture from getting into those areas and causing the wood to rot.
After we were completed with the caulking and all the prep work, we were ready to stain.
The project took a few days to complete, but as you can see in the pictures, it turned out great. The homeowners were very pleased with the work.
