This business owner in Indianapolis, IN was looking for a makeover to their business exterior. They were moving locations and had recently purchased their new building and wanted to give it a fresh feel. They did a google search for a good exterior CMU commercial painting in Indianapolis, IN that could paint their exterior and trim on the business. After discussing with the business owner about their goals and options, they chose to utilize Legacy Painting as their painting company.     

Prep:

We started the project with a good pressure wash of the exterior to make sure we had clean surfaces and allowed the building to dry before painting. There was a lot of peeling paint and more small cracks in the CMU were exposed. Once dry, we began our prep by masking necessary areas, masking off the brick, windows, and other necessary things not to be painted. Then we caulked all the necessary joints, crack and primed the bare surfaces with PPG’s SealGrip which is a great primer to utilize for various surfaces such as exterior wood, masonry, plaster, wallboard, cement, brick, and more.

Exterior Painting:

Once all prep was complete, we applied 2 coats of PPG Paints to the exterior surfaces. The customer chose Porpoise SW7047 for the brick and trim.

This exterior painting project turned out really good and the business owner was very happy with how it turned out.
