Home Exterior Painting – Brownsburg IN

This homeowner in Brownsburg, IN was looking to freshen up their home exterior. It’s been a while since their home was painted and it was due to be repainted. They wanted to keep it simple and go back with the same color or something similar. After asking around about painters, a previous customer recommended they call Legacy Painting for an estimate.  After visiting the home, and putting together an estimate, the homeowners decided to use our services for their home exterior painting project.

Prep:

We started off the painting project with a good pressure wash to clean the surfaces. Once the home was dry, we began our the rest of our prep work by masking necessary areas and protecting the driveway, A/C, patio, doors, and other areas not to be painted. We also re-caulked all the caulk joints that needed to be caulked.

Exterior Painting:

Once all masking, caulking, and spot priming were complete, we applied 2 coats of PPG Permanizer Exterior Acrylic Latex paint in a Satin sheen to the exterior surfaces of the siding and trim. Permanizer is a premium long-lasting exterior finish that’s durable and just an excellent exterior paint. It’s important to note, that we did not paint the front door or shutters on this project, since the customer excluded those from the estimate and didn’t want them painted.

Trim: Pure White SW 7005
